School Counseling

Hello Mark West Community,

Welcome back!  We hope you all had a great summer and are ready to join us on another wonderful and successful school year. At this time we understand there are a lot of mixed emotions about transitioning into the school routine, we understand there is a lot of excitement and some anxiety around unknowns. We would like to suggest having a conversation with your child about changes to their routine using your best judgment as to how much information is relevant and helpful for them. Our recommendation to parents is please do your best to exemplify poise, patience and positivity. Kids typically rely on adults to teach them how to respond to situations.

The counseling team will be present and available on the first week of school to help support students who might need additional support. However, if you would like to contact a school counselor, please contact them directly or by contacting the main office.

Have a great start to the school year, we look forward to seeing you all very soon.
